About
Let’s get acquainted!
Very early in my life, I had a powerful imagination about what I wanted to be when I grew up – from lofty dreams of being a Radio City Rockette to becoming a famous doctor… but mostly I knew I wanted to be a mother, and also to work in a helping profession. I double-majored in Psychology and English for my Bachelor’s degree from UNT, then proceeded through graduate school in Exercise Physiology at UT Austin. While teaching aerobics and fitness training in the 80’s-90’s, my passion for teaching and wellness coaching grew into the successful business I’ve made for myself today. In addition to starting my beautiful family in 1996, I continued working and opened my private fitness studio in Sugar Land in 2008.
I have had the great joy of working with every kind of body – from teen dancers to Professional Athletes to Octogenarians. With each year that passes and with each client I have learned more about functional fitness and the way movement is so healing.
